
Please state your preference of practitioner when booking an appointment. Seeing the same doctor for each episode of care, will help to ensure continuity. We will try to meet your needs where this is possible, although you may have to wait longer for an appointment with a named practitioner due to other duties or commitments.

Evening Appointments
Do you find it difficult to attend the surgery due to work commitments?
You can now make an advanced bookings to attend GP CARE Wakefield (Based at Trinity Medical Centre) This service is for same day and routine appointments to either see a GP, Nurse or other Healthcare professional.
This service is open –
- Monday – Friday 5pm – 9.30pm
- Saturdays 9am – 5pm
- Sundays and Bank Holidays 9am – 3pm

When your practice is closed – Call your GP Surgery. Your call will go straight through to GP Care Wakefield
Talking to a Doctor or Nurse
It is not always necessary to attend the surgery for advice, the doctors and nurses may be able to help you through askmyGP.
Cancelled Appointments
It is important that you inform the reception staff if you you are unable to attend your appointment, this will allow that appointment to be offered to another patient. If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
If you are Late
Please attend your appointment on time , if you are late you may not be seen.
Please note appointment times may vary during illness and holidays.
Private Medical Examinations
Medical examinations for special purposes such as pre-employment, fitness to travel, elderly drivers, fitness to undertake sports etc, will require longer than a routine appointment.
These examinations do not form part of NHS Services, you will be charged for any such examination. Please check the fee chargeable when you require to arrange any such examination.
